Terms of Service

1) The Service

• You get: (a) a bilingual banner (EN/HI) with four consent categories; (b) a tamper‑resistant consent ledger with CSV export; (c) basic configuration within the app.
• You control: mapping your cookies/scripts to categories and ensuring non‑essential scripts load only after consent.
• We may update features, fix bugs, or change the UI without notice.

2) Accounts & eligibility

• You must be able to form a contract under applicable law and act for a business/organization.
• Keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

3) Pricing & refunds

• Basic plan: ₹4,999 per domain, one-time payment.
• Add‑ons: Optional items like Priority Support (annual) and Language Packs (one‑time per language).
• Refunds: Full refund within 14 days of purchase (see Refund Policy). After a refund, the banner stops serving for that domain; consent logs remain accessible for 30 days and are then purged per policy.

4) License & ownership

• We grant you a limited, revocable, non‑exclusive license to use the script on the registered domain. Resale, sublicensing, or sharing keys beyond that domain is not allowed.
• We own the Service, software, and content. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

5) Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Misrepresent consent status or bypass the gating of non‑essential scripts.
• Reverse engineer, interfere with rate limits, or probe our security without written permission.
• Use the Service to process illegal content or violate third‑party rights.

6) Your responsibilities

• Publish an accurate Privacy Policy on your site.
• Categorise your cookies correctly and ensure non‑essential scripts load only after consent.
• Respond to your users' privacy requests under applicable laws.

7) Data & retention

• We store consent events (e.g., pseudonymous identifiers, consent state by category, timestamps, limited technical metadata) to provide exports and auditability.
• Default retention is 24 months for consent logs, configurable per our roadmap.
• Payments are processed by Razorpay; we do not store card details.

8) Support & SLA

• Included support: email for 30 days after purchase, best‑effort ≤72 business hours response (Mon–Fri IST).
• Priority Support (if purchased): email queue with ≤2 business‑day response (Mon–Fri IST).
• No phone/Slack support in V1.

9) Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance may occur. Use the Status page for current uptime information.

10) Disclaimers

• We provide software tooling only. We do not provide legal advice or guarantee compliance. Compliance depends on your implementation.
• The Service is provided "as is" and "as available".

11) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid to us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

12) Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Service, including mis‑categorisation of cookies or loading non‑essential scripts without consent.

13) Term & termination

• You may stop using the Service at any time.
• We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or to prevent harm.
• On termination or refund, the license ends and the script must be removed from your site.

14) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date will change. Material changes will be highlighted on the site/app. Continued use means you accept the changes.

15) Governing law & venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of Mahesana, Gujarat, India will have exclusive jurisdiction.
